Day 12. Transform six petal crochet flower into 2 tier six petal flower.

Transform six petal crochet flower into 2 tier six petal flower.

Using the same pattern for the flower on the  previous day, we are going to add 2nd tier, to add more volume to your previous crochet flower.

Materials:
Hook 4mm
Patons smoothie yarn,
Scissors

Stitches used :

Ch – chain
Sc – single crochet
Hdc – half double crochet
Dc – double crochet
Tr – treble crochet
Sl st – slip stitch

After you finished you first tier, don’t fasten off,

1. Sl st , working your hook around the first dc in the centre of the flower, ch 4, sl st in next dc , ch 4 and so all around, until you have another 6 arches, sl st.
2. In the 1st arch, sc, hdc, 2 dc, tr, 2 dc, hdc, sc, in the next arch and so all around the same way. Sl st at the end. Fasten off.

Again you can play around with colours and petals, using same technique I described in the pattern above ( six petal flower) . Just make sure you tuck in all the colours while you crochet your stitches,
Back of the 2 tier flower
that way making it easy to add next colour and hiding all your yarn under stitches you used

Enjoy crocheting.

Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Ii will try and resolve any queries you have regarding patterns I have posted.

Add some more fun to your flowers, make 2 different colours in the petals, to do that, follow these steps:

You can make your first petal in the same colour as the centre of your flower.

Then after you done your last sc in the arch.

Join in the new colour through the 2nd arch.

Sl st and ch 1 and that will be your first sc .
Make sure you tuck in all the excess yarn ending and the other
Colour under when you crocheting your stitches.

Makes your flower looking neat and  the other threads not visible.

and with 3 different colour petals etc

Makes your flower that little bit more unique and interesting.
 Enjoy and have fun.

Day 10 - Irish crochet flower motif

Twelve petal crochet flower motif.

Hello everyone, who has joined me to create some more crochet flowers.
I use online diagrams to make most of the crochet flower patterns. Some people cant read diagrams, so this way, it makes it easier for them to make flower or crochet motif they want. My aim is to make at least one crochet flower pattern per day. I want to see how far I can get, before I ran out of all the flower patterns. However recently I had internet issues, will be back online properly at the beginning of may, and I will posts all the missing flower patterns in one go.

Some crochet flower patterns will be used without any other online patterns, but could be similar or adjusted to the other or same flower or motif patterns.

This pattern has been followed the diagram.
Perfect for those Irish crochet project.
